Under water!

Nice to have a screw down crown...I\'m seriously thinking about some snorkeling? ...

But you’ve got a hole in the dial….

Great watch mate.

Ha nice one!!!

 By: pfang56 : December 20th, 2021-08:54
I've always admired the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms with the Tourbillon - wondering if this will perform as well? Cheers Peter

Ha! Or a giant piece of duct tape...

 By: pfang56 : December 20th, 2021-16:03
Cheers Peter

Will definitely try to post some in some local snorkeling...

 By: pfang56 : December 20th, 2021-08:55
Titanium makes me even more comfortable to try Cheers Peter

Anxiety lol

First dip yes...

 By: pfang56 : December 20th, 2021-08:56
Then second dip a little bit less. And the third, well it is getting easier. But I'm not nearly as courageous as another collector who places his Patek PCC underwater Cheers Peter

Wow I didn't notice that until you pointed it out!

 By: pfang56 : December 20th, 2021-08:58
Not a reflection of a float or a real alligator - but a very random pattern in the pool. Great eyesight! Cheers Peter

what is the wr on that tourbillon?

 By: shafran : December 20th, 2021-09:50
Looks amazing.

It is 50M...

 By: pfang56 : December 20th, 2021-15:54
And the screw down crown helps the security factor. Hoping less than 1M of water won't make a difference. Cheers Peter

Thank you!!

Hoping to snorkel around the reef with it! Will try to post.. Cheers Peter

You are a wise man

 By: blau : December 20th, 2021-11:28

Wise or dumb?

 By: pfang56 : December 20th, 2021-15:58
I guess I will find out soon...separately, sometimes I question my own judgement to get a Tourbillon when other complications have similar chronometry. But it's so damn cool - it's like getting a feature for feature's sake. Cheers Peter

Oh it's definitely a feature for feature's sake.

 By: blau : December 20th, 2021-16:44
Justified by its intricate beauty! The wisdom, though, is in your willingness to bring that precious watch with you wherever you go!

Thank you for your feedback!

I am trying to wear watches as much as possible! Cheers Peter

The Maldives?🤔

 By: myles721 : December 20th, 2021-12:37
Alright Peter I’m not gonna lie, this hurts! 😆

Yes, definitely fortunate to travel....

 By: pfang56 : December 20th, 2021-16:02
We feel fortunate to be able to travel to the Maldives. Hope you and yours have an excellent and safe holiday, wherever that may be in the world Cheers Peter

In a way this can be viewed as very daring. But given it’s a new watch, it either lives up to its WR rating or it doesn’t.

 By: BigAppleBill : December 20th, 2021-16:29
I’m not sure if I would try this because I have enough dive watches for such activities. But if it’s adequately WR rated, then I suppose why not? Most importantly it’s good to see you’re enjoying your watch!

Yes, I do have a few dive watches…

 By: pfang56 : December 20th, 2021-18:00
And those I do try my best to use under operating conditions to the best of my diving skills, which so far is limited to 30m! But, as with the entire collection, I always feel the need to find ways to “justify” the expense - and perhaps wearing these watc...

Diving

Than a screw down crown is a good feature. I do not want it, but some watches in my collection came with it. Not expected, my RT came with a screw down crown. Is it bad? No, it was a surprise for sure. ...

Helps a lot...

 By: pfang56 : December 22nd, 2021-03:02
I can imagine with screw threads and rubber stoppers helps with the protection... Cheers Peter

Will do thanks for noting!

Switched watches today but may find time... Cheers Peter

No hesitation getting that one wet!

 By: MichaelC : December 22nd, 2021-03:18
Love it.

Indeed! Here's another one just for you...

 By: pfang56 : December 22nd, 2021-05:00
This one has less WR but small pool wear has so far not affected the watch... Cheers and have a great holiday!! Peter ...

You do know AP makes a few dive watches, yes??

 By: MichaelC : December 22nd, 2021-13:48
;-) Wow Peter, I believe this is the first and only ceramic perpetual Royal Oak to get below a water line. I have full admiration that you enjoy all of your beauties as you wish... no sitting unworn in a bank vault. That is how to do it.

Ha ha yes...I've been awaiting some Diver with a ceramic bezel...

 By: pfang56 : December 23rd, 2021-03:19
But it so far went on a white gold model! Trying to be somewhat practical with my AP purchases (if there is such a thing) by thinking about the wearability, but the minute they come out with a diver in a titanium case, ceramic bezel, I would be all over t...

Great pic

I have done the same with my VC overseas tourbillon to the dismay of my wife, I must say your watch is fantastic!

And your watch is phenomenal!!

 By: pfang56 : December 23rd, 2021-03:26
I have a hard time thinking of a better blue dial than the one on your VC OS Tourbillon. And an extraordinary movement with a totally unique rotor implementation really enables the full view of the artistry and craftsmanship of the watch. Man, if I wasn't...
