New strap on Old Navy
Just got a new blue rubber strap to my Navy.
Now I can take my Navy to the gym and not have to worry about sweating all over the leather.
However, I do have a slight twinge of buyer's regret. The blue rubber is not really that blue. I'm not sure if the pics show it, but I would best describe it as blue with a taste of purple…
I do think that the original dark blue horn back with white threaded stitching looks the best.
Another strap that I really like is AP's alcantara strap a la Grand Prix.
Unfortunately, that strap is not compatible with my 42 mm Navy so I got the next best thing - the RB2 strap with the alcantara lining on the inside.
It doesn't really match my Navy but I'll be saving it for a future Offshore.
As the new all-grey Offshore does not appeal to me, here's hoping for a future titanium model.

I agree, the original hornback is best, and it is so unique. Have you thought about trying a Juan Pablo Montoya strap since you like the lining? That one has white stitching which would match your Navy quite well.
