What is immediately apparent is the trimming of the numerals, now executed in rose gold. The old dial did not have that. Also, the "AP" logo at 3 is now in gold. The subdials have a rose gold ring around them. The date disc is black with white numerals, opposite of the older dial's black numerals on white. Lastly, the dial color itself is more of a chestnut color now, much warmer and perhaps better paired to rose gold than the older dark grey.
Also of note, the revised version retains the older JLC based 2326 movement. Many of the newer Offshores are transitioning to the AP3126.
Do you have a preference between the two? I am smitten over the newer version ;-)

AP really made outstanding revisions to the RGR
RGR=rose gold rubberclad, of course ;-) I held it in hand last year and was blown away. If I were in the market for any current production Offshore, that would be my choice.

Although this facelift version is rapidly growing on me...
I'm still going to stick with the original dial that I am buying, for now, although the dealer has made it clear that I can take this one instead if I change my mind. For me, the older dial brings a casual appearance to a bling watch. I think it fits more...

...I too prefer the newer model DonD has. I still appreciate the older version but think the changes offer an improvement and a more mature appearance with the added detailing. Tony
