Mixed emotions, too.
I like the new design of the subdials better than the previous design with 3 subdials of an identical size. The subdial at 6 o'clock is only the small seconds anyway. But I'm not a huge fan of a date location between 4 and 5 o'clock in general, and the asymmetrical location in the new design makes it even worse. The YG/Blue combination isn't bad at all though. I have the same concern
This is before I got my SS Chrono Panda/Blue. And of more concern is that the date disc isn't perferctly aligned between 4 and 5o'clock. However, after a while, it doesn't bother me anymore, as the watch is so gorgeous.
