I will go for the APRO Chrono. The panda dial just makes it stands out and looks more interesting and classic. And the practical fact that it has more contrast due to the colour scheme, therefore legibility is better as well. The VC Overseas Chrono looks quite boring for my own taste.

and I really like VC, but Panda dial (black dial, white subdials). If you already have an AP, go for the VC. It's something different, and I really like the finishing and bracelet easy release/link adjustment system.

The VC is definitely unique, I never see them around, but I feel like 10 years from now, the AP will be a more revered piece. I don't know...
Although i like the VC i think the RO will be the best buy from these two imo

I find the overseas boring
i wanted to like it, but when i tried it on last year in Vegas, the face didn’t do anything for me and the shape of it (thickness) didn’t work for me. I really like the ROC, im just holding out for an in house movement.

Might be a viable alternative to the AP panda if you're leaning towards a VC... ...
I believe the forum has already spoken almost unanimously. Candidly if you seek compliments- AP hands down, but VC has much more to offer in terms of mvmt finishing and bracelet options...
...AP truly has to up their game and value proposition to match these new VC offerings. No one knows the future but at this snapshot in time AP has more brand value even with a lesser offering.

The AP is stunning. The finishing on the VC, particularly when seen live is incredible in its own right. And the in-house movement provides an advantage, undoubtedly in my mind. Fascinating to look back 10 years from now at how the brands will be perceive...
