JUMBO
Dear AP Purists,
First I would like to introduce myself a little bit, before asking for any help.....
I love watches a lot and especially Vintage Rolex (proud owner of 6542,5513,1655, 1680....) and Modern / Vintage Patek (proud owner of a 5712.....)
So the question could be "what are you doing here on an AP forum?"
I just turned 40 and one of my dream watch (beside the PP 3700) is the RO Jumbo so I decided to go for the modern Jumbo, I was about to buy a used 15202.
Then I looked at the vintage version A B C series and ..... I felt in love with the vintage version
I think that I can forget about the A-B versions (conditions + prices) then I can look for a C version or the anniversary limited edition...... or stick to the 15202
I do not know which one to choose knowing that I will wear this watch mostly on week end but I need a reliable and not too fragile piece
Thanks for your help

and still will buy 15202. However, I'll wait till next Baselworld as AP might introduce an interesting new Anniversary. However, I think 15202 is close enough the original and a really great watch. Best, Kari
Hi, MRS, welcome here, first of all.

I actually do see what you're doing here, on the AP forum, as it seems that you're a man of impeccable taste, from the list of watches you mentionned. I would say: First go on the vintage, A, B or C, then on the Jubilé, then on the more modern iterations....
Thanks everybody

dear all thanks a lot for your comments the dial I like the most is the vintage layout so the Jubile might be the best choice (... I am not a big fan of limited series but sometimes ....) now the best part starts ... "the hunt" I promise that I will keep ...
wthat you have to do is:
By: only5402 : August 25th, 2011-22:03
go for a vintage one compare the dial from these ones (ref 5402) with the 15202 and you will see a difference - that makes the ref 5402 the real deal (AP-Logo at 6 /ore AP-Logo at 12 both more atractive than 15202) and one important thing - I don´t k...
