If your wife's wrist is around 15 cm, then 37 mm case will be good.
If 16 cma, you can try a 39 mm.
Ask her to wear one of your watches, pretext a wrist shot, and you will see.

it's +/- 15 cm. Apart from that maybe a 37 mm would be better anyhow. Otherwise the temptation of wearing it myself will be way to big....
