Is there and as a business man with meetngs scheduled certain weeks the complication is important to me and balances the dial...Jim

...without the week indicator (same for the Royal Oak PC). But I am being provincial...Americans generally don’t have a use for a week indicator. The VC is beautiful but too large for the beautiful movement. Also, VC’s four-year leap year sub-dial is terr...

And the triangular indices optically pushes it further to the center.

On this one I must deviate from my normal preference of any VC over any AP But the patrimony is the one BC model that never “spoke” to me. And this blue dual is just, too blue too flat. I could never pinpoint why this patrimony never made my heart beat fa... 

The AP is every bit as beautiful as the photos in person and the beauty changes constantly as you move your wrist or the light changes...Jim

The AP is very interesting, modern but the Patrimony is timeless and traditional.

VC is a great brand but I don’t own any, they did not sing to me, however it is wonderful we all have choices. The AP is certainly new and different which for me is exciting...Jim

The VC is rather bland, and its subdials are a bit crowded to the center. Certainly a more classical piece, though, and some might prefer that look. The AP has an interesting, modern case and a gorgeous dial. Everything seems to fit here. No crowded subdi...

I don’t know the answer for sure. The watch maker at my Patek AD said “it is very nice finishing”...Jim

AP too busy for me. I don‘t think this one will age well. VC can do (and does) much better. Not to spoil the pleasure - just my personal taste. Buy what sings to you and wear it with joy. Daniel

We all have different tastes and that’s a good thing...Jim

However, although the Vacheron is quite striking, it's too limiting for this time in my life. The (dare I call it) sportier AP, with its killer "starry night" dial, would suit me much better, and land on my wrist far more often. Two, intoxicatingly beauti... 

The opportunity to make the choice...Jim

I'd probably go for a JLC perp. Not apples to apples for sure but still I prefer the AP. It's like having the night sky on your wrist.

Or better, a wonderful dial for sure...Jim
