It really makes me miss my C-series 5402. Those early Jumbos are so much more special than any of the later ones! Enjoy it in good health!

and the refinishing of the case is top notch! All the angles, bevels, surfaces looking brand new... awesome!

This is more of a practical thing: 1) it has to share the wrist time with many other watches I own and given I only have two wrists but normally only wear one watch there is a natural limitation and 2) I have my A-81x which is more of a "daily wearer" so ...

It was on "the open market" (very briefly). Why I got it: I was fast, local proximity to the seller/intermediary, personal viewing and subsequent personal pick-up. A recepie that helped me in the past with a few other rare birds like my Vacheron 222 Jumbo...
