Audemars Piguet

My only AP is the day date rose gold with leather strap. I have found one of the last AP Skeleton 15305OR so asking some opinions on it. I really like the watch but I had several incomings so need to think carefully at this price point. Also posting a com...  

-that movement in itself is no milestone -it doesnt look gud skeletonized - lack of balance/symmetry/layout -no AP logo - price/value proposition is skewed -opportunity cost - you might pick up something much better for the same dough -

other future possibilities so need to consider it carefully

And I love skeletonized dials.

Of course I've always been a fan of the skeletonized APs. The day/date IMO looks a bit bland in comparison.

For me: 1. The 39mm Royal Oak fits best on my wrist and also has the most visually ideal proportions. 2. The quality of openworking on this watch is superb. It is a real labor of love. 3. The 39mm version, especially in the gold case, trumps the new 41mm ...  

and I always held this watch be truly special. I enjoyed reading your very convincing arguments. I too think that this is a better option for me than the new 41mm ..I wouldn't get it in full gold anyway. Another visit to the boutique soon!

I absolutely love the 15305, I had the pleasure to try it on and found it superb, the movement plays well in different lighting, and you can never be bored of the dial. And combined with the superb RG color, I fell in love. I am not really a colored metal... 

will stay with me and was one of my very first "high end" pieces. The case and strap is indeed very similar. The Skeleton is slightly thinner and I think is still a very different watch ! this said I love the day date complication too and this watch has b... 

I am also a fan of the 39 mm AP, it is the perfect size for me. The skeleton looks great on your wrist. For me it is all about my reaction when I see a watch on my wrist. Good luck deciding. Best, JerryW
