I have both..
While I enjoy both of them, I love the ceramic over the forged carbon one.
I know that Forged Carbon is one of a kind and unique to AP, the ceramic is another level once you try both.
Please find the pictures and judge by yourself.
Cheers,
PS: or consider an alternative: 44mm Rose Gold
FC or Ceramic?

I am starting to plan for my next piece, either a Diver or a 44mm ROO. Having read many of your posts, I tend to believe that ceramic wins over FC for the majority. Am I right? I have another ceramic watch and love the solid feel/heft. But I also love the...

Having just seen and handled a ROO GP FC in person a few days ago by pure coincidence (met an owner at the airport), it is very nice, keeps the eyes interested in the case more than the ceramic. Quite nice in my opinion.... Let us know when and what you d...

AP's forged carbon and ceramic are truly on another level in my view vs most other brands. Their ceramic is finished at a standard that is just amazing while the forged carbon has some terrific properties. Net net, I think that it depends on the overall a...

Question
By: Ed Watches : July 17th, 2014-07:20
Did you notice the anthracite dial has disappeared from the ROO collection range on the AP website? I wonder if it has been discontinued just a few months after its launch. Also, what justifies the FC Diver being more expensive than the ceramic model, whi...
I beg to differ, but...

I beg to differ, but then as the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I feel my Boutique Edition in steel, exudes style and class, whilst the Ceramic or FOO always have a 'tuned' sort of image (pimp my watch, so to speak) But hey ...
For me the 44mm FC!!

You have a tough decision there... Had the same dilema last year... I decided to go for the FC cause I love the combination between the case and the bezel and how the FC feels... You can't go wrong with any of those watches... My advice is take the one th...
