Remember looooong ago, you had some wristshots of the Alinghi when you met NAD to a dinner or something like that...ages ago .. But it would be superb to see some wristshots...there are not many shots of the Alinghi team anymore. Kind regards Flemming
ceramic bezel
looks great! I saw one with a ceramic bezel, does AP offer this as an upgrade?
Yes, if you send an Alinghi into AP for a service...
and request a bezel change, they give you the option of replacing it with either a carbon fiber bezel or a ceramic bezel. NickO
Me, too. When I had my Alinghi serviced, I opted for a replacement carbon bezel.
The ceramic bezel is awesome, it just felt weird to change it up. Having said that, I do think the ceramic bezel made especially for the Grand Prix Offshore looks great and Iād probably go in that direction for that model. There is no logic to my thinking...

I know you do Sal. Those were among the AP glory days, IMO.
I do not.
It left the stable after so much wrist time, to fund others. A mistake I made a few times when I was less mature with my collecting. I don't regret this one though, it was quite enjoyable when I owned it.
Yes, back then, exceptionally light.
And still today, especially for such a large watch.
A super cool watch. And a blast from the past.
Another AP that leaves me wishing for larger wrists.
Well, it the light weight helped some pull it off.
But no getting around the large footprint, that is for sure.
