I am rather smitten with the new 43s, and while all versions look very good, the fume dial has the same "it" the Safari did when launched. The others are certainly more predictable versions. I hope to see one in the metal very soon ;-)
And it remains attainable 2nd hand and affordable.

The new 43mm ROO with the beige fume dial does seem to have unique features that parallel this original Safari, but in this new generation of ROOs. At least it seems to IMHO, but has to be seen in the metal.

You made the right call, there are much larger forces at play beyond our control. So we shouldn’t count our blessings before they present.
