If you noticed (at least I have) , prices for the volcano in the secondary market have been on the decline (as such you mentioned the price)
A very close cousin, the Hour Glass Limited Edition Lava, however, hold its value pretty well.
Having said all that, its a matter of personal tastes, and mine has the Safari, Navy and Panda well ahead of the Vesuvius

It was a "Hot" watch many years ago
when it debuted.It just goes to show how opinions,tastes changes over time.IMHO, if you like it and pieces being low now, buy it.
