But i got advise from my dealer along the same lines as you said so you’re not far off..i just like my watches shiny brand new I think so it bugs me when i see scratches. But then I’ll probably get a scratch or ding even after i get back from polish!!

Well, officially it was not from AP because that person was not a watchmaker. And it was a personal opinion on his/her part. Then again, if his/her personal watches are damaged by this unauthorised behaviour, they have access to parts and experts in- hous...

Back from service, but I didn't have it buffed.
Doesn't bother me. I prefer not to stress about every knock a watch receives, it's part of the experience.. ...
