This is very much true. I bought RO Jubilee without having in on my wrist before the purchase. When I opened the box and put it on, it felt unusual - neither modern sport watch nor a classic dress one. I felt a bit confused. Well, it only lasted a day or two. From then on, it is my daily pleasure with me falling for it every morning more and more. Every time I check what time it is, I feel more interested and attached to it. Its cool and understated, it does not win friends easily and quickly. It does not sell its beauty cheap. Its a kind of relationship which develops everyday into quite a love story, yet it remain somewhat formal. I used to respect the heritage and quality of this watch and the movement, now I am getting to appreciate its overall balance and hesitation to show off despite its superior features. Its like martial arts. The more you know and can do, the less other people would know about it as you would not use it except for a last resort of self-defense. Its a hidden quality and value, wearing a modest, simple coat. One to admire.
