Full ceramic 43mm Offshore

I was curious about the new Offshore and so went to try one on, in this case the full ceramic blue black version. I think the blue makes it more fun and sporty, but less versatile, than some of the others, like the taupe dial. In reality, the blue is more...

Attractive and fun piece.

Your pics and comments nicely showcase this cool offering. Other pics sometimes make the blue look comically (and cheaply) toy-like, but your pics are quite the opposite. Actually, I feel that on a black strap the watch does become a little more versatile...

Thanks, as I say, I think in real life it’s an even more subdued blue than in my pictures.

Maybe a black alligator strap could make it even more versatile.

The AP smurf.

My daughter says she doesn’t like watches! I’m hoping that will change as she gets older. Take care Jon

Yes, I liked it. The blue to black fading dial is particularly nice in person.

How are you getting on with the Olympics? The city backdrops to some of the sporting venues look amazing.

Still 12 days...

It’s a good watch on your holiday and some boring days in selecting which one to wear. I like this ROO than the Diver as more embed on wrist, and on top of everything , it’s fun to wear. The RG version also beautiful in fresh metal but not so funky as thi...

OMG 👏 so so nice

I can imagine that it looks tangibly more appealing in person....

Definitely. It’s more subdued and interesting in person.

Needless to say your Hasselblad would have done a much better job of capturing the watch than my iPhone!

This is such a fun piece!

I just call this piece for the Batman! Tried it on last October and I was surprised by how fun it was! My first time trying on anything ceramic from the brand. My only issue was that it is 43 instead 42mm. A 43mm piece of expensive candy! Going on a wild ...

Yes 43mm but by all accounts more ergonomic than the 42mm.

Yes, Sloane Street. Very impressive deductive reasoning/guess!

Thanks for a great post, Jon.

It sure looks good on your wrist. While a very large piece, I do feel the ergonomic massaging the 43mm collection received (very well captured in your profile shot) allows it to wear OK on smaller wrists. I still like the massive flat back 42mm Offshores,...

No problem, thanks Michael.

Are you still enjoying your taupe dial or is it fighting for wrist time with the Starwheel?

If I am being honest, the Survivor is my go-to AP these days.

I still love the taupe dial 43. The wonder of the Starwheel is it is not octagonal, and it is so mesmerizing to look at. I guess I am somewhat off of Offshores ;-) aside from the Survivor. But I admire the Offshore collection, and am interested to see whe...
