Sorry to keep posting this one, I can go back to octagonal content if preferred, but we always seem to have that well covered here smile

A complication that's an interesting combination of Star Wheel and (if put in an armored case) dare I say an Urwerk? Mike

Ha! No problem if you can show this spectacular beauty...

That aventurine dial is to die for! Peter

I'm a huge fan of the dial, Peter

I know they made a CODE 11.59 tourbillon in WG with a full aventurine dial. Would love to see that beauty up close!

The mechanism appears suspended in space over the wonderful aventurine

Really works great for the Starwheel.

That blue amazing!

Had its forebear on today. ...

Love how the dial guilloche and markings reflect on the polished inner bezel

A real classic here. I would like to one day add the platinum Jules Audemars white dial with floral engraving to my CODE.

You're right!

We don't only see stars...

Impeccable taste.

I'm in love with this amazing reference

Thanks!

It's indeed a starry treasure.

Super

I agree.

Have you been able to handle one yet?

 By: MichaelC : November 11th, 2023-14:09
We say it so often, but it needs to be seen up close. I can only applaud AP for their deign work.

No, the closest I got was to this large functional model they had in the boutique…

which of course is nothing like the real thing.🤣 ...

I saw that at Le Brassus over the summer

Would love to have one!

I'll see to it good Sir.

What a cool looking piece, and it has a second hand too which I really like

 By: Derreck : November 9th, 2023-07:29
AP did a wonderful job with this one

I was indifferent about that in photos, but owning it, I really like the moving hand. In fact...

 By: MichaelC : November 11th, 2023-14:15
It gives life to the aventurine dial, and animates the area as the hand rotates and continually affects the lighting on the sparkly dial.

My absolute favourite AP.

Thanks for posting!

My pleasure to share. I'm anxious to see another here!

I understand production is quite limited so far, bur soon enough, I hope more enthusiasts find one.

Best looking AP

For me the best looking AP, way better to look at the those ROs!

When you consider all of the negative reaction around the launch of the CODE 11.59 collection...

 By: MichaelC : November 11th, 2023-14:21
It is nothing short of amazing how far they come in such a short time. Ironic, because many on this forum have complained over the years that AP should / could rename themselves to "The Royal Oak Company". One brilliant member asked for the CEO to resign....

Captured the right moment.

Thank you, Sir.

Of the time piece! It is an absolute gem by AP!

I don't either 😀

All credit to AP for this great piece.

Aventurine, I think.
