I do lament how mainstream the brand has become. I bought my first, the silver rubberlcad, in 2001. Even though that particular watch was an eye catcher, AP as a whole was still under the radar. Nowadays, I am very thoughtful whenever I wear an AP in public. I used to wear them most every day, and hardly ever had someone notice it. I much prefer my watches that way (not that I in any way think less of AP watches, I will always LOVE this brand). I don't fear theft, or a violent interaction like someone trying to cut my wrist off, I just don't like any unsolicited attention.
I went with my Tutima today for church services. No new photo, but I could snap one! Watch is off at the moment as I am working in the garage...

Unfortunately one of these watches where you need to apply care when wearing in public spaces ....and perhaps even more so after the Royal Pop hype !! Best, Gerard ...
