Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Off Shore Juan Pablo Montoya Titanium. For the pleasure of the eyes.

A watch I owned, and which I let go... Sadly, as this was my favorite Royal Oak Off Shore, and I often think of it.

Cool looking, interesting with its different links to the automotive universe...

Big regrets.

Nicolas

The most "audacious" of AP Royal Oak Offshores when it launched.

And the one to spawn so much after it. Barrichello, Grand Prix, etc. - the JPM is the origin. I have thought much about it recently... when it launched, the reaction was very similar to the CODE 11.59. Lots of smug, smart ass remarks. And now many years l...

I loved this watch when it was first launched...

I missed the boat at the time as I was chasing something else. It seems a long time ago !

I was relatively a novice in the world of watches and in particular AP But I remember when I was at the AD with a friend and they showed us the pics of the soon to be released limited edition and I knew I had to have it I fell in love instantly

You still have it? [nt]

Unfortunately not I sold it and upgraded to the RBII

Both great ROOs

I, too, upgraded and then realized the Montoya

is in a league of its own and not really an upgrade. I traded my ti RB2.

Barrichello 2 in Titanium...

Do you remember the original price of the Titanium RB2, I have an opportunity to get one and curious as to the original price. Thx

I still have it but rarely wear it lately. It is my holiday watch.

A terrific looking piece. People change out the white stitch strap but I feel it looks best on this ti version. In person, the watch is 10 times nicer than any picture can capture. The carbon fiber almost looks holographic.

strap change

I also agree that it looks best on its original leather strap but it is not very comfortable on my wrist. I had to put it on a rubber strap and titanium buckle to make it fit well. I think it is the clasp size or position that makes it rather uncomfortabl...

Sad...

I kept mine and serviced

The first one in 42mm with rectangular shaped pushers just like the 44mm. It was a bold design back in 2004, with movement displayed, and unusual tapestry design. Only on special occasion I wear it out. Changed the original strap with a white diver strap ...

I don't want to damage the original leather strap
