Hi to all AP lovers! Does anybody know what and when will be next limited edition watch from AP? I read something about Lebron James...is it true?Thank you

Lebron piece will be announced at event in Miami on Sept 27th. I am looking forward to attending. Will report back after I see the watch. AP is being very guarded with details so no real info to share until launch. I'm sure it will be coveted.

Well, Lebron is a big guy like Shaq and Arnold... so I think we're gonna see a 48mm model similar to the Royal Oak Offshore Shaquille O'Neil and Legay. I'm guessing the dial is going to be similar to the Shaquille O'Neil with Arabic numerals in steel exce... 

Hearing it likely isnt black. If its 48mm and NOT titanium it will be very very heavy (like the Shaq). Hoping for kinda Shaq like dial on 44mm. We will see in a month or so.

Another LE I have no interest in buying (without even seeing the piece). I like when they are tied to a theme, not a person. JerryW

I dont quite follow that reasoning. Maybe wait for the piece and see what it has to offer.

Prominent sports figures can be very polarizing compared to the sports they play. For example, all automotive fans typically love the Grand Prix you have. It is just a super auto themed watch (most authentic ever, IMO). But I remember reading comments abo... 

a Nick Faldo AP but I purchased the watch because I really liked it. I do like basketball but liked it better in the 70's, it is a different game today. I am tired of the profile of so many athletes in general and do not want to support their products. Br... 

But they're certainly not alone with this marketing strategy.

They have the right to do whatever they want. Just like I have the right to like or not like the endorsements and products. I like more many AP than I do not like, trust me on that one. My favorite AP's are non LE's anyway. The Jumbo is as good as it gets... 

My favorite athlete might be Roger Staubach. (It may be Vince Young, even though he's done some very foolish things in recent years.) I would never, ever want a Roger Staubach limited edition watch. I don't know enough about AP to know which LE's might in...
