Unfortunately the 41 is a tad too big for me. I had a chance not that long ago for a 39m which I should have purchased because now they just aren't around for a reasonable number :(

My baby is back!

She was running fast, so I sent it to the folks at AP Clearwater and it came back 3 weeks later, spick and span. It was serviced under warranty, and came back with a leather travel case (which is very appreciated). I paid for their laser welding refinishi...

Good to see it back in good shape ..

Enjoy !

Thanks! It was 14 seconds fast, after 3 years of being dead-on when worn.

So let’s see what those Floridians have done

?

Was 14 seconds actually noticeable?

I monitor each of my watches’ chronometry religiously.

Even the kudoke 2 (which doesn’t have a seconds hand) To me, 14 seconds a day comes up to ~7 minutes a month. I find that unacceptable, but realize that it’s a matter of opinion

...

I was just wondering how people notice it. I assumed you switched around a lot between your watches so when it was really needed you would have them serviced.

That’s what normal people do.

Unfortunately, I’m obsessed with accuracy, so I set my watch to an atomic clock the night before I know that I’m gonna wear it, and clock it at the end of the next day (when I put it back in the watchbox). That’s probably a very unhealthy way to enjoy one...

Thanks 😊.

Form should follow function

amazing job

It looks brand new again. What is laser refinishing?

That’s what I paid for. Looks like it.

Thanks man

🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

Yes indeed

Amazing level of refinishing they offer. I must send my piece for this refinishing one day.

Very helpful explanation, thank you.

As a follow up question/clarification, if the polishing portion of the process is with the intent of smoothing/removing excess material used as a filler, then it would seem like the loss of metal is nil, no? I’m assuming they are precision-polishing the f...

You would be correct, ArmisE.

It negates the loss of material issue that is associated with regular polishing. A Lange & Sohne is supposedly the other brand that does this. I know of an independent watch repair shop who does this for all brands, including Rolex

A stunner!

It’s a gold AP

It’s hard to come up with a negative comment😆🤣😂 Enjoy…looks great on you!

Looks PERFECT. A clear indicator it was serviced at AP Clearwater!

They do exceptional work.

I’d have to agree with you on that.

 By: Lankysudanese : September 19th, 2021-13:54
I hope that they dedicated the same attention to regulating it, as they did to refinishing it

Thanks!

It better! It’s a tough competition nowadays, with double-certified chronometers in the collection 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks Nico.

I plan to put it to some good wrist-wearing use

Thanks Justin, for the reassurance and encouragement. Sometimes it takes a mini-make-over to

re-discover pieces in our collection. If she keeps good time, she’ll stay

😉👍🙏😁😜

Looks great!

Enjoy in the best of health! What size is that one?

Thanks my friend. This is the 41mm 15400.

 By: Lankysudanese : September 19th, 2021-17:09
It was the only regular production RO when I was in the market, back in 2018. They now have them in 34, 37 (along with the 41) I believe

TBH, this wears big on me too, after some recent weight loss.

 By: Lankysudanese : September 19th, 2021-18:47
But I love the shine of the guilloché (tapisserie) and bracelet. The current 15500 is even thicker than this 15400, and looks more on the sporty side of sports luxury, if you know what I mean

Very nice AP watch. Wonderful picture. 👍

Looking to add one soon in my collection. Happy for you. Enjoy your cool watch. 😊 Cheers. 🥃💨 Geross.

Thanks Geross.
