And it’s still with me, glowing more than ever, so elegant and bold.. always loved the Grande Lange 1 , even if criticised, I think it has so much personality and character.
The heft of its quality is remarkable … always a pleasure to strap it on my wrist.

Just out of curiosity, is it a WG or Pt case, hard to tell from the photo.
Definitely not a surprise that this has stayed with you.
Its critics does not matter, as long as you enjoy it. And I do think the Grand Lange 1 design has staying power.
