Independents

I've been a lurker for some weeks now but decided to finally sign up, so greetings! I'm not sure if the MING counts as an independent, but I've seen some other Kurono Tokyo / Chrono Tokyo watches, so I threw that in to be safe. The Ming watch is their div...

The blue Kurono is gorgeous, and I wish I knew about the brand back then! Great choice of Ming watches too!

I'm expecting to see more good stuff from Ming soon!

Their pre-orders for the 27.01 and 27.02 are scheduled to drop this week, so the 27.02 might be interesting!

And that Chrono is new to me.

The Chrono design was for the JDM only (at least so far), and hasn't made it to Kurono Tokyo yet. I like it because it looks like Hajime Asaoka's Tsunami watches without the $50k price tag haha.

It really does look similar to the Tsunami. Very nice!

Awesome collection! I had an Atelier Wen Hao and Ming 17.01 until recently too!

Hajime Asaoka is the Japanese Dufour! He belongs here if anyone does, even with Kurono! Is that his design too? And Ming? Just look at them! Independent? Yes! Watchmaker? Ok fine, we'll take it!

Well said! Yeah, the Chrono Tokyo Bullseye is his design, and is the JDM label for his Kurono Tokyo watches.
