Yes among the top three watch manufacturers in the world.
For me, it would be Lange number one, Patek, then Vacheron, then AP.
This is just based on models like the Zeitwerk, Richard lange tourbillon, Richard Lange jumping seconds etc. Too many models to mention.
But hey, this is just my opinion in terms of the order but they sit at the head table.

But the AD told me that together with PP, VC, and AP, they are being considered as the top four manufactureres in the world. Any input / arguements?! And yes I just visted the AD due to the price adjustment story from yesterday. Thanks.

On the " entry " level, I agree. Lange is a quite coherent brand.

The reason why I argue that Lange is the best brand is that all the watches the company makes, work well;
most of them look great; many of them are ingenious; and every one of them are finished to the highest standards. Regarding this last point-only small independent watchmakers finish at this level, this consistently. And they make 20, 30, 40 or maybe 100 w...

Many criteria, different levels of offering etc For me personally, Lange is one of my favorite brands, along with JLC and Montblanc (especially their Villeret collection). Does this mean these 3 brands are the best? No for sure. But to me, they are my fav...

Patek and Rolex maybe family owned but just as much "corporate greed" goes on at those two places as well. Patek in particular has pretty much set the standard for incredible price increases both on the retail and auction side this past decade. Tony

I think your AD's statement is too reductionist to be meaningful or useful.
