Thanks for your words. It is a bit a question of perspective. Lange is so perfect that this feeling is disappointing in the Lange context. But I can also understand that it could be considered as a minor issue by other persons.
Anyway, I think it is something to improve in this calibers family.

Love the idea of blued hands...
...but not this (to me) light color. A deeper, closer to black, blue color would be better. Any idea if this watch will be offered with black hands? Thanks for the detailed review and nice photos.

Due to the lights condition, the hands appear to be lighter than they are actually. As you know, blued hands can have a very dark rendering. It is the reason why blued hands are so beautiful: they offer a wide range of colours! :) Fx

I prefer the original version much better and not only because i am biased against any tinge of red on the dial.. but i think the new version looks abit flat.. I think its because in the new version, the minute track is now much closer to the bezel since ...
I would like to correct something.
I checked several times: the thickness of the new 1815 up/down is 8,7mm and NOT 8,9mm. So the watch is a bit thinner than the 1815 "3 hands". Sorry for this. Fx
