I would like to correct something.
I checked several times: the thickness of the new 1815 up/down is 8,7mm and NOT 8,9mm. So the watch is a bit thinner than the 1815 "3 hands".

Due to the lights condition, the hands appear to be lighter than they are actually. As you know, blued hands can have a very dark rendering. It is the reason why blued hands are so beautiful: they offer a wide range of colours! :) Fx

I prefer the original version much better and not only because i am biased against any tinge of red on the dial.. but i think the new version looks abit flat.. I think its because in the new version, the minute track is now much closer to the bezel since ...
