I do not have attention for some reasons.
When i see a brand have rectangular watches, on websites mostly, chrono24, it is strange but i have no eye for it.
What it is? I do not know.
Why round case watches always are popular, i do not know, you?
I hope for you, brands would never stop making rectangular watches.

I see time machines, like Uhrwerk, MBandG. With this i have completely nothing.
I respect the creativity, but yeah, i like it when it comes to complications.

it’s nowhere close to being the best rectangular watch in history. That would be a Tank or a Reverso....or Rolex Prince

I don't expect the re-release of the Cabaret
but with Moritz Grossmann Cornerstone and Lang & Heyne Georg there are very nice rectangular watches available from Saxony.

Out of fashion watches are good - better value for real collectors as they leave "traders/flippers/speculators" out of the equation. I tried one in Tokyo many years ago, and it was indeed appealing (simple yellow gold). But I tend to see rectangular watch...

I don't think the Reverso was a direct competitor to the Cabaret even though they are both rectangular...
I will say that the Cabaret is an exceptional watch and something that Lange could possibly bring back in the future with a couple of tweaks. I see dress/casual watches malijg a comeback so who knows 🤷♂️
