The Datograph Perpetual is simply..

The 556 components make the caliber L952.1 look like a city underneath the sapphire. The completely in-house caliber that is assembled twice by hand combines two of the complex functions; the split second chrono and the perpetual calendar.
The outsized trademark Lange date is easy on the eye. All functions of perpetual calendar can be adjusted by a single rectangular pusher at 10 ( with the crown pulled out) and hence will still be settable on March 1, 2100 by the user.
Individual recessed pushers allow adjustments to day, month and moonphase.
On the 410.030 grey dial WG version , the Dial is sterling silver with Applied hour markers and time and chrono indicator hands in gold while the month and day indicators are in contrasty blued steel
Yet another under appreciated undiscovered treasure from the German brand.
