I have not the price for polishing in mind but as I recall it was not excessive.
Laser welding is quite time consuming as it can be done only punctually, that means tiny little spot by spot as the laser focus is just a few tenth of a mm in diameter.
That Lange is charging this same as a traditional polish would be not so "consumer friendly".
