Wow the 1815 pt looks amazing. Make me miss my old 36mm 1815... But that was too small for my wrist but I had to let it go. Thanks for sharing those lovely photos!! Every day is a great day with something like that on your wrist!

The 1815 is at 40mm exact, while the RL PLM is 40.5mm! So you actually want the RL PLM to be bigger? Or smaller? I'm confused?! LOL Stephen

What I meant is the size of Original 1815. I like that one better than the current oversize 1815, in fact , I don't even remember it exists. So for me, a 38mm RL PLM is a killer size, truly understated elegance. The current RL PLM has a dashing size and p...

Well for me, I don'T see how it is "fashion" that the watch is 40mm. I mean like for Panerai, at 47mm they didn't create it that size on purpose for "fashion", they are trying to emulate the exact originals, which were all 47mm. Ok, then you might say tha... 

it has to do with the wrist size. A Richard Lange 40.5mm sits bigger on the wrist. When worn by a small wrist, it looks like a 'fashion' statement but when worn by a bigger wrist, it looks normal. That's what I mean...I'm not comparing it to Panerai. They...

Hi John If I recall correctly, the Simplicity was originally 34mm, with an upsized 37mm version created on the basis of customer requests rather than increased performance. I believe the movement is the same, although better informed people will correct m...

Absolutely timeless and simple. What more could one want. I really like the dial on this watch too, it's almost a duplicate of the King's dial. This is a great formal watch, I nominate this watch to be worn on those semi-formal parties; where a small seco...

But well, one can'T get everything in life, but the longer I own the RL PLM, the more i agree that it NOT having center seconds hand is much better. Amazingly it "reads" easier. Waiting for the day your PM comes! Enjoy the articles! Stephen

The Lange 1 is handwound and has a brilliant date display. You should wear your Lange 1 more often. Although I don't mind automatic watches as much as you do, I am glad to hear that you have such strong preferences. I truly respect people who have strong ... 

But is was mainly purchased for use when I travel, to Europe and stuff. Basically places where there are more than a 2 hours time difference. Back to home in SIngapore or Indonesia, the time difference is too small. So it gets it share when the time is ri...

That was the plan when I decided on this 1815, to make it an extreme daily! I'V always intended to wear my Lange's more than my Pannies, seeing that they are Platinum, of which i'm obsessed with, and are Made in Germany, of which I love and trust! Cheers ...
