my dear Art, its just like buying a Subaru WRX or BMW M3, and modding it to 500bhp within the week. whats the fun in that? should go stock for first few months, then go for stage one conversion from 280bhp to 350 bhp, then stage 2 to 400 bhp etc etc. same... 

Of course there must be progression as in your example of chip ups for horses and torque etc. it is just taking a quick route when it can be taken. ie jumping to max that one can afford. Not right for all but right for some. Some get a thrill from small s... 

when i said DS in a previous post, i was refering to FPJ DS aka Dead Seconds, not the Lange DS aka Double Split!!! sorry for the confusion! Best, Horo

I have to correct you. It was a FPJ CS Black Label and I hope the owner doesn´t read this. He loves his watch a lot, but has "strong" feelings against the Chronemtre Bleu

For showing us those glorious pieces. The Tourbillon PLM remains my absolute favourite Lange & Sohne. The CS remains one of my most favourite Journe. And the Philippe Dufour, remains permanently on my "Grail list"
