I know that I'm on a bit about this lately, but your thorough and passionate report only reinforces the importance of having "collector enthusiasts" involved in these events -- you connect with others of us who not only love, but buy, watches and what we get from you is very different from the reprints of company press releases by the so-called online watch journalists!
Loved every photo, but particularly that capture of the engraving on the reverse of the prize watch -- must have been difficult to catch it given the logistics (watch in display case) but the angle and light are superb.

It is pure business because they sell the watches during the Geneva week to the dealers. But I can tell you that this event was the most beautiful one I've ever participated. Fx
