I did actually get to do the same comparison with a friends Emil Lange last year. It was noticeable the difference. My understanding is that the alloy is not the same however, those older watches are different. I can’t recall if I read that somewhere, if someone told me, and therefore unsure how accurate that statement is.

They really did a good job on this one. Case and dial, just perfect together. Splitting hairs, if it was smaller it would be absolutely perfect.
If only it was Emil Lange size or maybe a mm larger than that one.
I think this case size loses some elegance.

It’s a nice compromise for anyone that feels yellow or red too strong or too eye catching. And it can be perfectly casual.
