I’m currently obsessed with this watch! While I won’t dispute the proposition that a black enamel dial would have been a wonderful execution, I very much appreciate the blackened silver dial, as, in my view, it adds to the understated charm of the watch. No one would suspect that a mechanical marvel is hidden beneath, whereas the PT and RG versions with their luscious GF enamel dials and the blued hands exude, relatively loudly, a luxurious timepiece. I think these three models complement each other through their distinct executions and for that reason can be appreciated for their own particular aesthetics (leaving aside any collector grievance concerning the release of the WG model 7 years after the release of the original and more limited PT and RG versions).
