Lange & Sohne Richard Lange Pour le Mérite White Gold ( 2016 ).
After the rose gold and platinum versions in 2009, Lange unveiled the white gold edition of the RL PLM.
Same case, which is 40, 5 mm big and 10, 5 mm high, but in white gold, this time, with ( and it is for me the only flaw of this watch ) a dial which is not made of enamel.
A very alluring watch, made in a LE of 218 pieces.
And the fantastic fusée and chain movement:
With a black enamel dial, that would have been not only a great watch, but also a Grail for me.

Yes! Love it but it should have been enamel
Not just that enamel is appropriate for the kind of watch this is, but that they'd already set the standard for it with the original white dial version of the watch. Made this one feel lesser.

A Lange in white gold with a black dial is special indeed (very discreet IMO).
Perhaps they wanted to save the ultimate enamel combination for a later celebration?
I like the enamel dial and the black date disk.
Though I feel that moving the seconds sub-dial location upsets the balance of the original Lange One design. Beautiful watch on it’s own merit though.

Give me the rose gold version with enamel dial!
The platinum one with only 50 copies is too hard to find. But the rose gold one is much easier to find! That three-part enamel dial is amazing! The biggest problem is the thickness of the watch; these Langes are just too thick for French cuffed shirts!
Have you tried this on Patrick? Mine is actually quite slim and compared to Ferdinand Berthoud's new release which is thicker, this PLM wears super comfortably 😉
No problem at all for French cuffs but it is definitely not a JLC MUT or Bvlgari OF 😁

Not saying for you to purchase a Bvlgari, just wanted to say this PLM is not as thin BUT it is not thick either. It is actually just as if not more thin than most of my other watches 🤷♂️..
As for French cuffs, I guess it just depends on how tight you have the cuffs. If I wanted to wear a thinner watch, I could simply choose another from my collection so this PLM does not have to be an ALL in one watch for me. Hope that makes sense 😉
I agree with your comment just like (almost) all about the enamel but...
...at the end it still is a superb piece and I vote for it Moreover your pics are excellent no doubt but having the piece in the hand gives a different feeling of a gorgeous understated piece and not only a simple nomal beautiful ALS imho...
