I have a much better appreciation of this RG version now. The white gold Chrono has been and remains my most wished for Lange. In the end, even with all the trade offs you mention between it and the Dato as well as the new 1815 Chronograph, I still place the old version as my clear favorite. But this review whets the appetite.

You did that very well. A quick question for you...
From your photos the hands look to be uniform rose gold? On my watch the hands have slightly discoloured and gone a little white towards the pinion. I think it's just normal rose gold behaviour.
this PG1815 would have won my heart over the
Dato for its non lumi hands, dial color and thinner case, it is actually more desirable, regrettably, the "3" and "9" numberals cut offs are a turn off, like many other fine Lange and Patek watches which suffer the same fate, it's such a pity. Nevertheles...

Quite rare
It is a quite unique watch as this black dial/RG is not commun and feels like "old times". But I guess I would also choose the WG version as it would last longer, for my taste. However, for someone who is sensible to this combo it must be an unforgettable...

No, not much bigger. 0, 5 mm bigger, if I remember well.
