A. Lange & Söhne

Thank you for all the responses so far

I appreciate all the responses.

Wanted to clear few things. The offer to buy back the Lange 1815 AC was by the Burdeen’s family that owns few Richemont’s boutiques in Chicago area including Lange, not by Lange itself. Yes, a very generous offer indeed it defeats the purpose of doing this bundled transaction (practice introduced and approved by Lange corporate itself for Odysseus and other application pieces, at least in US) in the first place. I do want the Odysseus. Also, I expect a brand like Lange to honor its commitment. There is no clear differentiation between Chicago and Miami boutiques on the website. So a consumer who goes to either boutiques would expect to be treated in the same way.

The Odysseus lists are now closed in US and I cannot go and buy another piece at the Miami boutique to be eligible for Odysseus Steel again. So that route, even though it would have meant restarting my waiting period again after 2.3 years, is closed now.

Purpose of the post is to ask if other posters have experienced something similar and are also waiting for their Odysseus allocation beyond the initially committed waiting period. Further, to seek advice if there is a route available for me to raise my concerns to senior management at Lange US/Germany and hold them accountable to honor their word.

Again, much appreciate all the responses.
