I plan to add a Datograph (maybe just a Flyback or if i am lucky, a Perpetual) in a few years when funds permit. And that’s it for me for Lange. If i can find in WG.
Actually just saw a Datograph Flyback in Pt when i visited the AD earlier. Smitten. But not enough. Almost USD40K discounted.
The Zeitwerk sits just fine. A bit tall but good enough. Was looking at a Striking Time. But was told it would be too tall. I could imagine seeing that the regular one is tall already.
Love the look of the Grand Lange 1. Chose this over the Lange 1 as i want my watches big at that time.
I like the double folding clasp of the Pt to the simple deployant of the RG. Fits better.
But both are great. Read somewhere that Lange 1 is the iconic and representative model of ALS so get that first. The ZW is the best second ALS. And considering Dufour’s praises for the Datograph, one should have one round the collection.
