Really, confusion?

 

Thanks a lot passtemps for the reply. I can understand the historic charm argument of the Datograph which is fair enough for keeping the date as is but certainly not the confusion point!


Have you ever looked at a 24hr clock which reads 20.15 and you think it may be 2.15 in the morning? The reason you dont is you roughly know what time it is as is. 

And more to the point if you look at a date your not going to be that inaccurate of where you are in the month you currently are so if you see 02 I guess your not gonna think its the 20th of the month as you know roughly what part of the month you are in don't you?

Just my honest opinion but each to there own and I respect your opinions on here as you are studying watches a lot longer than me. smile Just thought the dial would be better looking during the single digit dates. Would be interesting to see what others think but I bet most promo shots of the watch show a double digit date maybe?
