Original Dato Beauty Contest: 403.031 vs 403.035
Without regard to weight, comfort, cost, rarity, attainability, etc... which would you prefer to own and wear in your regular rotation? The RG panda 403.031 or the Platinum panda 403.035.
Sorry too many technical issues attempting to load the photos of the two watches...

RG if I didn’t care, PT because I do.
So many of us have chosen the PT because of practical factors. But I’ve always thought the RG were more attractive.
Could flip a coin. Both are exceptional.
In general, I prefer PT (and YG and WG) to RG. But if I already had several PT pieces, then I might opt for the RG/black dial version in this case.
RG is definitely rarer
403.031 was made for a shorter period of time. Not a ton of them out there. The extent to which rarity matters is an interesting question to me, when we're comparing otherwise identical watches (which in this case aren't really identical, since the weight...
It is an interesting question indeed.
The rose gold with white dial appears to be similarly rare, but is not as sought after as the more common platinum version, or its black dial sibling.
