Taken by a large window on a clear day, with indirect sun. The dial steps are quite hard to capture but are very distinct here.

You've got on your wrist there. I have a feeling you'll be checking the time every 30 seconds for a while LOL

I also really like the black dial and rose gold combination...very tempting. Beatiful watch, wear it well!

I hadn't thought about the fact that all those different Lange chronograph models were released with black dials. Thanks for pointing that out. It looks like the Gen2 1815 chrono (the one without the pulsations scale) was never made with a black dial -- I...  

No: it’s not every generation - it’s every model. You are correct in saying that the second generation 1815 Chronograph never had a black dial.
