I just turned 20 today, and as a little birthday treat, I got myself a little present... Sorry for the crappy iPhone photos, I'll post a couple more detailed shots later on. All I can say is, I haven't felt this giddy since I was a child, opening presents...

and excellent choice, I have the same watch, I much prefer this to the new version even though that has a longer power reserve. Watch enthusiasts are turning you nowadays. Enjoy your presnet and keep them coming.

I spent a number of years being indecisive about the 1815 Chrono and the Datograph. In the end I went with the 1815 Chrono and couldn't be happier. I would never trade it for a Datograph now, but I can imagine adding a Dato one day...Enjoy the 1815 Chrono...

I can't agree more... this 1815 chronograph is a very seducing watch, a kind of UFO in the Lange collection due to its style and its short presence in the catalogue. Fx...

When I was 20, I was happy to get a Swatch. The fact that you're on to ALS at your age, lots of respect mixed with envy. It's the kind of piece and appreciation that put you well ahead of your peers...heck I only started to appreciate mechanical timepiece...
