I was very excited to try on this piece at the local boutique as it is my fav model released in SIHH this year. I have to admit I was a bit underwhelmed at first sight. I feel the dial looks too “jewelry like”...a bit too sparkly...was not sure how to rea...  

but I was staring at the upper lugs - did you find that the watch was the rights size for your wrist or was it a little too large? The dial is fine - I saw the watch at the SIHH and yes it appears a bit like a gem watch but still lovely to look at. I did ... 

I prefer the 37mm saxonia thin size as my wrist is quite small. Keeps getting smaller...😞 But I am fine with the look on my wrist in person as its dial is dark and does not appear as big.

and the 37mm Saxonia thin is the perfect size! I wish Lange would produce a 37mm or even a 35mm Saxonia thin with the mesmerising blue dial. It will be a hit with women and us small wristed men

Also the movement would fill up the case better.

The 37mm ultra thin movement looks better than the 39mm or 40mm Saxonia thin as it fills the case so well! Maybe next year Lange will oblige

I must say that finally Lange has shown a well proportioned, thin watch with a stunning dial. If they want to achieve a wider group of collectors, I think that this might be a successful way. I've always found extremely "heavy" in esthetic the famous engr... 

This watch has to be seen in person to appreciate. I am just a big fan of the airness. You can tell by my skin tone as well. Lol. 😂😂

This would have been a beautiful women’s watch in 35mm. Why is it so large? If it was smaller, I would probably would have bought one for my wife.

I will say that even the much-loved black dial 1815 chrono looks devoid of life in these atrocious LED lights in California.

Recently i've experienced the same excessively bright LED light in Bulgari's boutique. They should use at least a warmer yellow LED instead that those white cold LED.

I thought it was very feminine. And not just the dial; the strap was a thinner and lighter strap than what Lange uses on all its other watches. I'm in agreement with Incandenza on this-it would be a perfect watch for a woman at a slightly smaller diameter... 

Too feminine for most male buyers; yet too large for most female patrons? Once you get to a certain size, all the elegant design in the world cannot save a much too large watch on the wrist. This would look ridiculous on my wife’s wrist, not to mention th... 

It’s great getting your option as well as an experienced Lange collector. Truly appreciate it.

...from those pictures the watch looks a little big on your wrist. The lugs don't seem to help. Obviously these photo angles can sometimes give a different appearance and sometimes one doesn't need a perfect fit (I am a prime example of that as 38/39mm is... 

Yes, I would have preferred 37mm for my small wrist. Hope you can see it in person soon.

It's a nice piece, both me and my boss can wear it, which makes a great case to own, one stone two birds Like Padj said, the leather strap is very thin and feminine... Let us know how it goes. Rgds Raymond ...  

Mixed feelings...can’t explain is exactly my feeling too after seeing it in flesh. Totally understand what you mean. In some ways it’s feminine and in some ways(under natural light to me), it’s good for men’s watch as well... It’s an unique watch regardle... 

It was interesting to observe. Both men and women liked it. It was a stand-out piece that got a lot of attention. I recall hearing one "debate" between a man and woman about whether or not it was feminine. Personally, I like the dial, but it definitely wo...  

I agree this watch has a mixed design in terms of the sparkly dial and a men’s size case. Still got mixed feelings myself even though I do like the dial a lot under natural light. Btw, your two omega look really cool! I can understand why this Lange is at... 

As someone who likes art on the dial, I like it a lot. IMO, it is delicate but not necessarily .feminine.

I am asking out of pure interest and NOT in order to start another „is it really in-house?“ discussion.

the capacity to finish (or perhaps manufacture entirely?) the occasional specialized dial in-house, but only in very small quantities. For example, we know that the Lange 1 Tourbillon "Handwerkskunst" dial was enameled in-house, and the Lange 1 Tourbillon... 

I was asking because yesterday someone at Parmigiani mentioned to me that they supply dials to Lange. Furthermore, Parmigiani began using aventurine on some of its watches in 2016. Again, to reiterate: my question arose out of interest concerning the shar...
