It was interesting to observe. Both men and women liked it. It was a stand-out piece that got a lot of attention. I recall hearing one "debate" between a man and woman about whether or not it was feminine.
Personally, I like the dial, but it definitely wouldn't be a daily wearer. This would be an occasional watch.
The strap, which looks like a women's strap because it lacks visible stitching, is something I would change if I (as a man) were to wear it.
Also, I have some vintage Omega quartz watches from the 70's with this same dial, and I think they look really cool.
