I happen to think that this watch is perhaps the best looking classic Lange dress watch produced. What do you think? 1815 Cuvette With hunter back & Saxomat Later I will try and do a comparison with the Pt Richard Lange....

What is the case size of the Cuvette? I thought the 1815s were all sub 40. In your pictures it looks as if it might be slightly larger the the RL.

G'day, the "Cuvette" indeed measures exactly 40mm in width! I believe these to be the largest non-chronograph models of the "1815" range, which makes them quite special (apart from the special dials and hinged backs). Cheers, Peter

The 1815 Chrono measures 39 x 10.8mm. So the "Cuvette" is the widest of the 1815 nodels! Cheers, Peter

The RL is a hair bigger than the Cuvette, but there really isn't much in it. Whilst I find the regular 1815 too small the Cuvette is 'just right' in all proportions for my taste. Regrettably, I will be giving the Cuvette as a gift to someone (it was alway...
