Elegant Gentleman on their own!
Hi,
Thanks for sharing such elegant with UMmppp!wrist watch!I would say both have their very own ways of elegance.
They are serious in pt and simply stunning with three hands.I would say they are the best three hands Lange has produced in recent years.
Sizes,dials combi,height aside,i would still prefer RL.As both are so irresistable i simply do not have a straight answer but just by feeling towards both.

1815 Cuvette
I happen to think that this watch is perhaps the best looking classic Lange dress watch produced. What do you think? 1815 Cuvette With hunter back & Saxomat Later I will try and do a comparison with the Pt Richard Lange....

What is the case size of the Cuvette? I thought the 1815s were all sub 40. In your pictures it looks as if it might be slightly larger the the RL.
Yes, the "Cuvette" is 40mm
G'day, the "Cuvette" indeed measures exactly 40mm in width! I believe these to be the largest non-chronograph models of the "1815" range, which makes them quite special (apart from the special dials and hinged backs). Cheers, Peter

The 1815 Chrono measures 39 x 10.8mm. So the "Cuvette" is the widest of the 1815 nodels! Cheers, Peter
1815 / RL size
The RL is a hair bigger than the Cuvette, but there really isn't much in it. Whilst I find the regular 1815 too small the Cuvette is 'just right' in all proportions for my taste. Regrettably, I will be giving the Cuvette as a gift to someone (it was alway...
