Funny, I immediately thought
Jaquet Droz when I first saw it. Looks like a technical marvel, and I think the hour disc execution will be fine unless it's very slow. My only concern is whether this regulator style dial is too far away from the usual layouts that we're used to seeing so that it detracts from readability. Layout-wise I'm not sure that it's very "Lange", but that's a tradition and history for it to make. Definitely one to be seen in person first...
