OK, back to the watch. I must say seeing you present it this way and in platinum has completely changed my view about this Wempe LE. I never gave it a second look, perhaps because the blued hands stand out so much against the starkness of the dial and the Pt case. Actually, I like it even more than the Anniversary which I felt had so many colors going on, the red XII, the blued hands, the black letterings etc. Somehow the enamel dial became secondary. Thanks again for this post and highlighting another Wempe desirable.

Well, to say all, I don't care about rarity.
Which is more important for me is its aesthetics, and the idea behind the watch. As you, though, I'm not a big fan of the power reserve indication on an automatic watch with such a short autonomy. As for PG or Platinum, as always, it is a matter of taste....
