A. Lange & Söhne

I recently turned 30 and want to treat myself to A Lange but I am stuck on which to go for as this will be my first Lange. I have a budget and have been looking mainly at white gold so I can wear it daily either with a suit or jeans.

This would be my choice for a first Lange. The dial has a a lot of character, the proportions are superb, and the movement is very appealing. My favourtie among the 3 you mentionned. Now the question is which one... A white metal one, yes, but the Platinu...

Especially since this is your 1st, i strongly suggest the Lange 1. Although i would strongly suggest, why not consider the platinum version of this watch? For but a small premium , you own a watch in a metal tha is pure, rare and eternal. Do not forget to...

Platinum is nice but may be too heavy I will need to have a feel. I think the lange lume looks like a strong contender as it looks smart but also could be warn nicely with jeans have to try and see one in the flesh to compare.

But by all means, do give it a try and you may end up loving it as much as me and a few others here share our passion for the only metal that is Pure, Rare and Eternal! Tschuss Stephen

Difficult choices, Lange 1 is an icon, no doubt about that but so is the 1815 range in my opinion. The timezone is great if you need it for travelling. My preferred 1815 is probably this one, although the 1815 Auf und Ab is also a classic. ...  

you know, with Lange its really special: they have many nice and exemplary watches, but (for me at least) it always comes down to one question: How does the watch exemplify the 'Lange spirit'? And here I have to say that the Lange 1 TZ falls short a bit. ... 

Such a stunning dial. Clean, simple, elegant. And the blue hands put it over the top.

Hello! The Lange 1 with its asymmetrical dial layout is a fascinating concept but I think that it is probably also a watch that you will get tired of easier than the super classic bauhaus design 1815. There is very much going on visually, in that Lange 1 ...

that grey dial is the best looking version of the Lange 1 to me. Without a doubt that watch out of the three would be my choice! Tony
